Most of the demolition Norwest has on record sits on one road, Windsor Road, and one authority assesses all of it: The Hills Shire Council. Super Demolition works those postcode 2153 blocks under a current Demolition Licence and a current Asbestos Removal Licence, to Australian Standard 2601-2001: houses, garages, pools, slabs, partial strip-outs and licensed asbestos removal, with the approval arranged as part of the job.
The NSW Planning Portal registers for The Hills Shire Council carry 26 demolition entries against Norwest addresses. Nineteen are on Windsor Road.
They are not scattered along it, either. They sit on ten separate Windsor Road properties, mostly consecutive numbers, each a house or a pair of houses on a deep arterial lot cleared so attached dwellings, multi dwelling housing or a subdivision can go back. One frontage coming down lot by lot, not knockdown rebuilds across dozens of streets.
A single address on that road accounts for five entries on its own, across a pair of consent numbers, with statuses running from determined to cancelled to rejected to still under assessment. The consent a demolition here is finally done under is often not the first issued for the block, so we work from the current wording.
Seven entries are nowhere near Windsor Road, and they are the ones most callers recognise: a certificate on Evesham Court covering a demolition and nothing else, an application on Barina Downs Road putting a dwelling and a secondary dwelling back, a Fairway Drive block cleared for an exhibition home.
On a knockdown the house goes with the garages, sheds, carports, fencing, driveways, paving, footings and the slab underneath. Pools are filled or dug out, material sorted on site for recycling. Renovation work is the reverse: partial demolition taking one wing or the internals while the rest stays up.
Fibro sheeting, eaves linings and old vinyl tiles turn up in houses of a certain age. That is licensed work, and it stays on the same contract through our asbestos removal service.
Jack owns Super Demolition and usually looks at the property himself. It is family owned and managed, with over 30 years behind it. The rating sits at 5.0 across 84 reviews.
Here that means:
Insurance, memberships and full credentials sit with our residential demolition service, and the same crews work across Western Sydney. Site assessments and written quotes are free, and every enquiry gets an answer within 24 hours. Call 0455 888 819 and we will walk the block with you.
New South Wales runs two routes. A Complying Development Certificate comes from a private certifier rather than council, where the proposal meets the planning standards in full with nothing left to weigh up, and a straight knockdown on a compliant lot is the usual candidate. A Development Application goes to The Hills Shire Council and is assessed on merit: a subdivision or dual occupancy bundled in, a heritage constraint, a bushfire overlay.
Across The Hills Shire the two are close to even, with complying development at 48.9% of the demolition applications on the register. Norwest leans the other way. Only eight of its entries sit on the certificate side, which follows from what is proposed here: subdivision and multi dwelling housing are weighed on merit.
Approval has to be in place, council and neighbours told, every service shut off. We run that list:
Your part is signing. Ours is lodging it and chasing it.
The commercial entries are few but real: a demolition alongside general industry works at Brookhollow Avenue, and an office premises job in a unit along the same street, withdrawn before it ran. For a shop, office suite or warehouse, our commercial demolition service covers fitout removal and structural work, staged so neighbouring tenancies keep trading.
Nobody can put an honest figure on a Norwest demolition down the phone, and a rate per square metre is the worst version of trying. It flattens what moves the job: the size and construction of the building, whether asbestos is in it, how much hard surface leaves with it, and whether machines reach the back.
So we look first and price second. Assessment and written quote are free. The quote itemises the work, the approvals and the timeline, and that is the figure you pay, with no hidden fees and no variations. Already holding a written quote? Bring it and we will beat it.
The same crews handle demolition in Castle Hill, where the council depends on which part of the suburb you are in, demolition in Kellyville, where what goes back on the lot decides the route, and demolition in West Pennant Hills further east.
We do. It is arranged as part of the contract and comes to you once the site is signed off. Keep it, because your builder and your certifier will both want to see it.
To EPA approved NSW recycling and disposal facilities, sorted on site so brick, concrete, metal and timber are separated from general waste. Dockets come back with the paperwork, and anything containing asbestos travels its own approved route.
No. Withdrawn means the applicant pulled it, usually to change the scheme and lodge again, and several Norwest files sit in that column. It says nothing about whether that land can be cleared.
Not the demolition. That has been done here, and the licences, notices and clearance certificate are identical either way. What changes is the timetable, because a display home has an opening date attached to it.

A register dominated by one road can make a suburb look closed to anyone who is not a developer, and Norwest reads that way at first glance. It is not. The quiet streets behind the arterial carry ordinary house jobs, through the same licensed hands and the same notices as the highway clearances. Tell us the street number and what is standing on it.
